Djehuti’s prenomen, Sekhemre Sementawy, means “the power of re who establishes the two lands.” It is thought that Sobekhotep VIII succeeded him. Djehuti may have been a part of the Theban 16th dynasty based in Upper Egypt. He reigned for three years after around 1650 BC, according to Kim Ryholt.
