This name derives from the Hebrew “lê'âh,” Ancient Greek “Leíā (Λείᾱ),” meaning “weary, tired.” Leah was the daughter of Laban, the first wife of Jacob, and mother of Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, Zebulun, and Dinah.
